Staff Research Associate I - Ophthalmology

Location: Fully On-Site Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Employment Type: Indefinite Salary Range: $28.69 - $34.21 Hourly Job ID: 30323 Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Staff Research Associate I (SRA I) will assist in the research goals of the Au laboratory under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI). This position will also manage machine learning pipelines. Job Qualifications Required: Obtain, manage, and preprocess large-scale ophthalmic imaging datasets Apply or develop machine learning algorithms focused on ophthalmic images Proficiency with Python or R for analysis, model development, and visualization Familiarity with medical imaging formats and tools (e.g., DICOM, TIFF) Work independently, maintain organized records, and reproduce analyses High ethical standards in the analysis of data Preferred: B.S. in Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or related field Strong coding abilities and knowledge of computational medicine and biostatistics Previous experience working with machine learning using ophthalmic datasets B.S. in Computational Medicine, Computer Science, or related field As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
