Sr. Software Engineer - DevOps

Salary: $176,000 - 183,500 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• We are looking for 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps or systems engineering, with a strong history of supporting production environments.
• We need deep Linux expertise and solid experience managing cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code.
• We expect strong scripting skills in tools such as Bash and Python, along with familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
• We value excellent systems-level and network troubleshooting ability, including isolating, reproducing, and resolving complex network or application issues.
• We are seeking someone with a continuous improvement mindset, a willingness to teach, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

• We partner closely with our software team to plan, build, and run the cloud and edge infrastructure needed to deliver new features reliably and meet business needs.
• We maintain and optimize our fleet of on-site Ubuntu edge servers using AWS ECS Anywhere, Terraform, and Ansible to keep them secure, stable, and current.
• We support and improve our server provisioning pipeline so servers are imaged with Linux and deployed with our application stack during installation.
• We enhance and streamline CI/CD pipelines across our software teams to support efficient testing and deployment.
• We serve as a collaborative technical resource for diagnosing difficult network and application issues.
• We design, build, and maintain developer tooling that helps our software team move quickly and reduce stress.
