Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity involves working during both the Extended School Year (ESY) and the regular academic year, providing essential guidance and instruction to students with diverse learning needs.

Key Details:

• ESY runs from June 8th to July 3rd, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am–12:30 pm
• NSY is full-time, August through the end of January
• Elementary caseload, fostering development and growth for younger learners
• Contract position
• Located in the Santa Ana, CA area

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Knowledge of IEP processes and best practices in individualized instruction
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with parents, staff, and students
• Adaptability, empathy, and a passion for inclusive education environments

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering engaging, differentiated instruction tailored to students’ individual learning needs
• Creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborating with general education teachers, aides, and related service providers
• Maintaining detailed records of progress and communicating regularly with families
• Fostering a supportive, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere
