Patient Access Conversion Specialist

Overview Patient Access Conversion Specialist – Full‑Time | 40 Hours/Week Monday‑Friday. Onsite at Local medical Office – Joliet. Responsibilities Check‑in / greeting patients and scheduling appointments. Acknowledge and welcome patients and visitors, setting a positive tone. Manage appointment scheduling and confirm adherence to sleep scheduling protocol. Handle high call volumes to meet patient needs over the phone. Verify patient information and document it in the Electronic Health Record (EPIC). Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Review and monitor daily schedules, ensuring all open slots are filled. Pre‑screen patients based on departmental protocol. Review the daily appointment report and prepare charts as appropriate. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Three years of patient/client‑facing experience. Customer focus: Demonstrates excellence in customer service and satisfaction for internal and external customers. Integrity/Ethics: Demonstrates personal integrity, honesty, and sincerity; trusted to do the right thing. Personal job competence: Performs core responsibilities efficiently and effectively within organization policies, procedures, and external governmental agencies’ requirements. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.30–$24.50 per hour, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
