Patent Litigation Judicial Clerk

Wilson Sonsini is hiring associates who are currently completing their federal district, appellate, or state supreme court clerkship and will be available to start in the fall of 2027 to join our high technology patent litigation team. You will be an integrated member of our team advising companies at every stage of development, from entrepreneurial start-ups to multibillion-dollar corporations. You will not only represent our diverse client base but will also be involved with all phases of the relationship from getting to know the client and their technology to helping with strategic counseling and working with other practice groups to provide comprehensive legal advice. A background in life sciences, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, applied math or similar disciplines gained through education or work experience is a plus. We are seeking strong academic credentials as well as excellent verbal, written, research, and interpersonal skills. You may sit in Seattle, San Francisco, Palo Alto, San Diego or Washington, DC. We do not accept search firm submissions for judicial clerk candidates. Compensation and Benefits Salary range of $225,00 – $235,000, based on year classification. We offer competitive clerkship bonuses for qualifying courts. Discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
