Overview
We are looking for an experienced Brake Press Operator to join our team! This position is responsible for setting up and operating a CNC press brake to bend and form sheet metal parts according to job specifications. Job duties include setting up and operating a press brake machine, loading materials and installing tooling as needed, reading and following blueprints, drawings, and work instructions, programming and adjusting machine settings for accurate bends, inspecting finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy, using measuring tools to verify dimensions, performing basic machine maintenance and keeping work area clean, and following all safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
Skills and Experience
Requirements include experience operating a brake press or similar fabrication equipment, the ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools, strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, and the ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
