Base Salary: $45,000
Target Commission: Approximately $20,000 annually - uncapped commission

About the Opportunity

A growing internet services provider is expanding its residential sales team in the Clearwater / Pinellas County market and is hiring Direct Sales Advisors.

This is a hands-on, field-based sales position for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building relationships, and working independently within an assigned territory.

The majority of the role is spent in the field connecting directly with residents through door-to-door outreach, community events, lead follow-up, and outbound sales activity.

What You'll Do

• Manage an assigned residential sales territory.
• Conduct door-to-door prospecting and introduce internet services to prospective customers.
• Follow an established sales process and presentation.
• Follow up with leads and prospective customers.
• Enter customer orders using company-provided mobile technology.
• Participate in community events and local sales initiatives.
• Develop positive relationships with residents throughout assigned neighborhoods.
• Monitor competitor activity and communicate market feedback to sales leadership.
• Work toward individual sales and production goals.
• Represent the organization professionally during every customer interaction.

What We're Looking For

• Previous sales experience required.
• Outside sales, door-to-door, residential, territory, or field sales experience strongly preferred.
• Telecom, fiber, broadband, or internet sales experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to work toward and achieve sales goals.
• Comfortable approaching new people and starting conversations.
• Resilient and able to remain motivated after hearing "no."
• Professional and composed during challenging customer interactions.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Comfortable spending the majority of the workday outdoors and in the field.
• Interested in career advancement opportunities as the local operation grows.

Requirements

• Must be local to the Clearwater / Pinellas County area.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass driver's license and background checks.
• Authorized to work full-time in the United States without sponsorship.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable walking door-to-door for approximately 70–80% of a shift.
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying Florida weather conditions.
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
• Comfortable using tablets and mobile technology.

Compensation & Benefits

• $45,000 base salary
• Approximately $20,000 target annual commission
