YOUR ROLE As a Senior Consultant at Aspect Advisory , you will advise leading financial institutions across Europe on regulation, accounting, risk management and IT security . You will take on responsibility for challenging projects at the interface between business, risk and technology and help to shape stable, compliant and future‑proof financial organisations. POSSIBLE FOCUS AREAS Regulatory reporting / RegTech Consulting on regulatory reporting requirements (COREP, FINREP, AnaCredit, ESG reporting) Analysis of regulatory changes (CRR III, EBA guidelines, ECB templates) and implementation in business and IT processes Optimisation of reporting systems, data architectures and control chains (e.g. BAIS, Abacus, OneSumX) Accounting & Financial Reporting Implementation of IFRS/HGB requirements (e.g. IFRS 9, IFRS 17, FINREP, Disclosure) Integration of accounting, risk and regulatory data flows Introduction of modern reporting and consolidation solutions (SAP, LucaNet, OneStream, etc.) Risk Management Establishment and further development of risk frameworks in accordance with Basel III/IV , MaRisk , CRR , IFRS 9/13 Consulting on credit, market, liquidity and operational risk as well as ICAAP / ILAAP Consulting on stress testing, risk data aggregation (BCBS 239) and governance structures IT Security / Cyber Risk / BAIT Implementation of regulatory requirements (BAIT, DORA, ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT) Development and testing of IT security and control systems Conducting IT risk analyses, audits and gap assessments YOUR PROFILE 4–8 years of professional experience in at least one of the areas mentioned (regulatory reporting, accounting, risk management or IT security) Degree in economics, (business) information technology, mathematics or a related field In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements (CRR, IFRS, MaRisk, BAIT, DORA, etc.) Ability to analyse complex issues in a structured manner and translate them into actionable solutions Project‑safe consulting, communication and presentation skills in German and English Initiative, sense of responsibility and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration You have a valid work permit for Germany WHAT WE OFFER Challenging projects in the European financial sector (banks, insurance companies, FinTechs) Opportunity to specialise in one or more subject areas Personal development up to a management or specialist expert role Competitive remuneration, bonus model & participation options We work flexibly, modernly and remotely – from anywhere in Germany.
