Forward Deployed Engineer

We're partnering with an early-stage AI startup looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to work at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success. You'll collaborate directly with customers to understand complex challenges, build AI-powered solutions, and help shape the product based on real-world feedback. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving ambiguous problems, working closely with users, and seeing the direct impact of their work. What You’ll Do Partner with customers to understand technical challenges and business workflows. Design, build and deploy AI-powered solutions tailored to customer needs. Integrate AI products into existing customer systems and workflows. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to turn customer feedback into scalable features. Own customer implementations from discovery through to deployment and ongoing optimisation. What We’re Looking For Strong software engineering experience using Python, TypeScript or a similar modern language. Experience building and deploying production software. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable translating customer requirements into scalable technical solutions. Experience collaborating across engineering, product and customer-facing teams. Thrives in fast-paced environments with a high level of ownership and autonomy.
