Job Title

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Neuro / Ortho / Pediatrics)

Marquette, MI | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Neuro/Ortho/Pediatrics unit serving patients of all ages (28 days and older)
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6, delivering safe and effective nursing care across neurological, orthopedic, and general pediatric populations
• Care for trauma and post-operative Ortho/Neuro patients, as well as general pediatric cases
• Utilize electronic health record systems (Paragon / Cerner) to document and coordinate patient care
• Float to inpatient units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Work 3 weekends every 6 weeks in alignment with unit scheduling expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (ADN minimum required)
• BLS certification required
• 2+ years of experience with adult Med/Surg patients
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• 2+ years of pediatric nursing experience
• Familiarity with Neuro and/or Orthopedic patient populations
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-specialty environment
