The Role: Forge’s software engineering team is passionate about innovation and building scalable solutions that drive liquidity and growth in the private market. The ideal candidate thrives in team settings, enjoys collaboration and mentoring engineers, and focuses on delivering value and making an impact.    Location: This is a hybrid role where you'll be onsite 2-3 days a week in one of our locations: NYC or SF. Responsibilities:Implement and maintain web applications with customer domain and marketplace middleware specific business logic Communicate with team members. Work with Tech Lead, Engineers, Product Manager, and Program Manager to arrive at solutions that produce customer and business value.Develop concise, articulate, and detailed technical documentation Leverage Agile and Lean practices Partner with product on understanding requirements, review technical requirements, and take/implement actionable tasks from the team’s board/backlogBuild and maintain automated tests (unit and integration), ensuring high code qualitySupport healthy system operations and ensure high levels of availability are achievedQualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent years of working experience in the field 4+ years of software engineering experienceExperience as a software engineer for a product engineering teamExperience building APIs with C# and .NETExperience integrating AI into daily routine (crafting prompts, reviewing code, advice)Experience with SQL / Relational DatabasesExperience interpreting system designProven track-record of teamwork and deliveryPreferred Qualifications: Experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing, or similar approachesExperience developing event-driven systems leveraging Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similarFintech or Financial services industry experience with working knowledge of financial regulators and their concernsExperience with KYC (Know Your Customer) workflowsExperience with multiple server-side programming languages  Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) or Domain Driven DevelopmentExperience with an Event Store DBExperience with CI/CD pipelines and managing application deploymentsExperience with scaling systems to millions of usersWorking knowledge of the private marketFor residents of San Francisco, CA the annual salary range for this role is $169,000-$200,000 annual bonus.
