Technical Program Manager

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, custom manufacturing programs within a fast-paced hardware environment. The Technical Program Manager will play a critical role in owning end-to-end delivery across engineering and manufacturing teams, while navigating shifting priorities and high-touch customer engagements in a dynamic, high-pressure setting. The Technical Program Manager will be full-time and sit on site in RTP, NC. Responsibilities of the Technical Program Manager: Drive full lifecycle program execution for complex hardware product development initiatives, from concept through production Serve as the primary liaison for customers, ensuring clear communication on timelines, specifications, and program status Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to maintain alignment and execution velocity Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and risks while ensuring alignment to financial and operational targets Lead decision-making under ambiguity, balancing customer needs with internal constraints to maintain program momentum Qualifications of the Technical Program Manager: 4+ years of program management experience in a manufacturing, mechanical, or hardware-focused environment Demonstrated success working in high-change, high-pressure environments with evolving requirements and tight timelines Proven ability to influence stakeholders, resolve conflict, and drive alignment across customer and internal teams Willingness to travel 50–60% initially Strong technical acumen including the ability to interpret engineering drawings, apply DFM principles, and utilize standard PM and business software tools Compensation for the Technical Program Manager includes: Salary range: $120,000-$150,000 annually Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k and holiday This job opens for applications on 08/24/2026.
