The Momofuku Group is comprised of restaurants and bakeries located in the US, Australia, and Canada, a magazine, and an equipment manufacturing company. We are fun, exciting and fast-paced. Momofuku's first restaurant in Washington, D.C. opened in October 2015. Momofuku CCDC serves a roster of dishes that change with the seasons. The restaurant has a bar, noodle bar, main dining room, and private dining room.
We are looking for a Host to join our front of the house team!
Some things you'll be doing:
- Manage reservation system
- Seat guest accurately and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand
- Recognize key people in the industry and related to the company
- Assist teammates to anticipate all other front of the house needs
- At least 1 year of host experience
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in an organized and meticulous manner
- Receptive to constructive criticism and general performance feedback
- High volume restaurant experience preferred
