Outpatient Clinic, Springfield, MA 01105, USA Description The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking Master’s Level Clinician to join our START team. The START (Stimulant treatment and Recovery Team) at CHD is looking for a clinician who wants to help individuals experiencing a Stimulant Use disorder. Our team is at the forefront of change within the Substance Use community. This unique program treats the mind and body. We are looking for a like‑minded, motivated, and team player to join us. This is a full‑time on‑site position located in Springfield, MA. This position requires working with individual clients in session and running multiple groups throughout the week. A must is having an understanding of individuals who are experiencing the SU disorder without judgement or bias. Flexibility is a must as we are client focused and work with helping them find their own path. Peer experience is welcomed. Pay range $62,000–$68,000 is based on unlicensed and/or licensure held. Responsibilities Clinician works to fully engage clients in the treatment alliance. Clinician performs individual, and/or group treatment to help clients improve their presenting symptoms and problems. Clinician recognizes and responds as needed to protect the safety and well‑being of clients including mandated reporting, referring for crisis evaluations, higher levels of care, and managing crises. Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to enhance client success. Consistently meet billing and documentation deadlines to ensure smooth operations. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay at the forefront of your field. Requirements A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field. Lived experience, or has a specialty/interest in working with this unique population. Experience working with diverse populations such as, but not limited to, un‑homed, LGBTQIA, underserved communities, and indigenous individuals. Eligibility for credentialing by MassHealth and licensure in the state of MA. Proficiency in verbal and written communication, with competence in electronic health records.
