The full-time nature of this position guarantees a dynamic and fulfilling schedule that keeps you engaged with a steady caseload.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations and design tailored treatment plans for assigned patients, ensuring adherence to established standards of care.Utilize appropriate assessment tools, techniques, and methodologies during evaluations, along with goal-setting and planning interventions based on individual patient needs.Document all evaluation and treatment sessions meticulously within our electronic medical records system, ensuring accuracy for billing and compliance.Perform necessary screenings, such as assessing for lymphedema or fall risks, to ensure the right patients receive appropriate interventions.Implement specialized treatment programs aimed at restoring and maintaining function, improving mobility, alleviating pain, and preventing the progression of disabilities.Provide care to both inpatient and outpatient populations, actively participating in interdisciplinary team discussions to address patients' holistic needs.Engage in opportunities for professional development, such as contributing to presentations, publications, and supervising interns, which align with advancements in your clinical career pathway.Patient Population / Client FocusYour role will encompass a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, those rehabilitating from sports injuries, and patients with developmental or learning disabilities. You will have the opportunity to work with various age groups, including pediatric patients, ensuring that your therapeutic approaches are adaptable and tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual.QualificationsA Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.Valid Florida Physical Therapist License is required to practice.Minimum of one year of clinical experience in an acute care setting is preferred.Strong proficiency in trigger point therapy techniques.A solid understanding of human anatomy and physiology.Experience and comfortability working with pediatric patients and within hospital medicine practices.Adept at managing inpatient care needs and capable of functioning in both clinical and hospital environments.Preferred ExperienceExperience in a rehabilitation facility with a focus on diverse patient needs.Familiarity with electronic documentation systems used in healthcare settings.Hands-on experience with innovative therapeutic techniques and modalities.Compensation and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience.
