Accounting Manager: Real Estate

A real estate firm based in White Plains is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations for their growing portfolio. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounting including GL maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations Lead the month-end close process and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Oversee bank, operating, and escrow account reconciliations Review AP/AR activity, including rent rolls, tenant ledgers, and collections Analyze budget-to-actual variances and communicate findings to management Collaborate with property management on expense coding and financial reporting Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures Assist with budgets and reforecasts; support year-end audits and tax preparation Manage and mentor a small accounting team Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience in real estate Proficiency in Yardi #J-18808-Ljbffr Ascendo-Resources
