Radiation Therapist - Flexi Schedule

Overview:

Sentara Rockingham Medical Center Hahn Cancer Center is hiring a Radiation Therapist - Flexi Schedule. Days, 8- 16 hrs per pay period 8 hr shifts M-F. Provide radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established practices and standards. Duties may include but are not limited to:

Deliver external beam radiotherapy to include (3D, IMRT, SRS/SBRT)

Deliver brachytherapy treatment

Perform patient simulations; preparing equipment, such as immobilization, treatment, and protection devices

Reviewing patient records for accuracy

Acting as liaison with physician and supportive care personnel

Maintaining patient records, reports, and files

All new graduates will remain Radiation Therapist I for the first 2 years of employment and are required to pass boards within 6 months of hire.

Education:

• Associates degree Radiation Therapy (Required)

Certification/Licensure:

• ARRT Radiation Therapy (T) - Certifications
• BLS

Experience:

• Prior related experience is Preferred

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $44.05 - $65.34 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
