The Pitt Shop on Forbes is the one-stop shop for all of your game day gear and is a licensed retailer for the Pitt Panthers and the University of Pittsburgh. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: supervising staff, overseeing retail financial analysis and inventory management and control, monitoring retail operations budget, creating scheduling, training, loss prevention plans, promotions, and events, working effectively across University departments to implement marketing and communications strategies, implementing sales and customer satisfaction goals, developing policies and procedures for best practices in retail customer service, inventory, and fiscal management, coordinating, planning, and executing sales floor merchandising in accordance with standards and guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and organization of store and inventory, purchasing operational supplies and being responsible for the operational budget, negotiating vendor supply purchases, coordinating store events, utilizing online programs to manage web stores and fulfill orders, and working across University departments for website updates. Well-versed in Microsoft Suite. Strong computer skills with the ability to create Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, and use Microsoft Teams.

Physical effort: standing, and walking. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, and moving heavy objects up to 50lbs. Requires standing for long hours at a time.
