Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer for an outpatient setting, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARDMS, ARRT, or RVT certification.

Details

• Outpatient ultrasound department
• 3x12 hour day shifts, Friday 7a-7p, Saturday and Sunday 7:30a-7p
• Performs OB/GYN studies including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scans, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, placenta previa, and umbilical cord Doppler
• Performs fetal and neonatal abdomen/head studies
• Performs vascular studies including aorta, carotid, color flow, Doppler, duplex, upper/lower extremity arterial and venous, renal artery duplex, and M-mode
• Performs general ultrasound studies including appendix, biliary tract, breast, gallbladder, intraoperative, liver, pancreas, renal/pelvis, bladder, ovaries, transvaginal, uterus, vaginal, small parts, testicles/scrotum, and thyroid
• Performs procedures including cyst aspiration, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and liver transplant studies
• Uses Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Epic charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• ARDMS, ARRT, or RVT certification accepted (ARDMS AB, OB/GYN, BR, or RVT specialties accepted)
• BLS certification required
• Philips ultrasound equipment experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Prior travel experience required

Additional Information

• Works in adult, emergency department, NICU, and obstetrics settings
• Facility conducts a mandatory onsite drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana testing
• Local candidates not accepted within the 50 mile radius rule
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
