We foster a collaborative culture where your clinical expertise, leadership, and commitment to quality care are recognized and appreciated.Position SummaryAs the Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of your assigned nursing unit while providing leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff. Working closely with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team, you'll help ensure exceptional resident outcomes, regulatory compliance, and a positive experience for residents and families.This position may include either a Wound Care or Infection Prevention focus, depending on experience and facility needs.What You'll DoLead and supervise the day-to-day operations of your assigned nursing unitCoach, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAsConduct clinical rounds and monitor resident careEnsure individualized care plans are implemented and updatedPromote a positive, team-oriented work environmentMaintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulationsParticipate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesCollaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team membersAssist with admissions, discharges, and resident care coordinationProvide leadership support in the absence of the Director of NursingWound Care ResponsibilitiesAssess and treat pressure injuries, surgical wounds, and other complex skin conditionsDevelop and implement evidence-based wound care plansMonitor healing progress and adjust treatment as neededMaintain accurate clinical documentationEducate residents, families, and staff on wound prevention and treatmentCollaborate with providers to achieve optimal healing outcomesInfection Prevention ResponsibilitiesConduct infection surveillance and monitor infection trendsInvestigate exposure incidents and implement corrective actionsEducate and train staff on infection prevention practicesEnsure compliance with CDC, CMS, and state infection control guidelinesAssist with policy development and regulatory readinessCollaborate with healthcare providers and public health agencies when neededQualificationsRequiredCurrent RN or LPN license in good standingStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesAbility to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilitiesPreferredPrevious long-term care or skilled nursing experienceLeadership or supervisory experienceWound Care experience (for Wound Care role)Infection Prevention experience (for Infection Prevention role)Infection Prevention Certification (IPCO) or willingness to obtainWhy Join Northridge Health & Rehabilitation?We know that taking care of our residents starts with taking care of our team.We offer:$10,000 Limited time Sign on BonusPay Starting at $95,000Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Paid holidaysEarly wage access through TapCheckCareer advancement and leadership development opportunitiesSupportive leadership teamEmployee recognition and appreciation events throughout the yearA collaborative workplace where your voice mattersReady to Lead?If you're an RN or LPN who is passionate about clinical excellence, mentoring others, and making a difference in the lives of residents, we encourage you to apply today.
