About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director for SLED (Midwest) to spearhead business development within State, Local Government, and Higher Education organizations. The successful candidate will be tasked with owning and executing a strategic growth plan, building and nurturing executive-level relationships, and driving revenue growth across the public sector market. This role demands a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7 years' experience in selling enterprise software or SaaS solutions to SLED, a consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets, and a strong understanding of public sector purchasing processes. The Executive Director will be responsible for managing complex sales opportunities, collaborating with internal teams to align customer needs with solution capabilities, and representing the organization at various industry events. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, with a preference for those who have a background in high-growth SaaS or emerging technology organizations. The role requires excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, as well as a consultative selling approach with a customer-first mindset.
