Fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal parts and products by performing the following duties.

*MUST HAVE experience working with manufactured aerospace components*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.

• Forming of Sheet Metal parts to required specifications. Hand forming as well as hammer form and rubber press form.
• Other tasks to support forming operation – such as polishing parts and deburring.
• Signs into and tracks work using an ERP system.
• Capable of diagnosing simple issues with parts, able to work with technical staff to diagnose more complex issues.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.
• Follows documentation to select gauge and type of sheet metal such as copper, steel, or aluminum, or titanium.
• Lays out and marks dimensions and reference lines on material to develop and trace patterns of product or parts or uses templates.
• Inspects each operation for conformance to prints / specifications.
• Moving products to other areas as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
