Batch Plant OperatorThe Batch Plant Operator is responsible for accurately batching concrete, operating equipment, and supporting daily plant operations. This role works closely with Production and Quality teams while maintaining safety standards and troubleshooting issues to ensure efficient, high-quality output.Safety is our highest priority. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and able to troubleshoot issues while working both independently and as part of a team.Ideal Candidate Will HaveHigh school diploma or GED required2+ years of batching or mixing experience (Preferably in concrete, aggregate, or asphalt)Willingness to learn and operate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranesBasic math skills, including the ability to read a tape measureStrong communication skills to work effectively with team members and leadershipAbility to troubleshoot problems quickly and efficientlySelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamAdaptable and open to process improvements and operational changesWorking Conditions/Physical RequirementsAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm useCapable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hoursComfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequentlyAbility to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazardsWillingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.This profile summarizes key duties and expectations but does not list every possible job task.
