Overview Consultant Clinical/Counselling Psychologist (0.4 wte) – Permanent position with the Inverclyde Primary Care Mental Health Team. This role provides clinical leadership for the delivery of psychological therapies (PTs) within the team, building on the current post holder’s work and advancing projects identified in the NHSGGC PCMHT Review and the National Psychological Therapies Specification. Responsibilities Governance of PTs and direct clinical care Consultancy to the team on psychological care and the delivery of training to multidisciplinary staff Ensure PT supervision systems are provided for all staff Work with the management team and wider psychology staffing to meet key service objectives Qualifications Registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with the HCPC Substantial post‑qualification experience in adult mental health Experience in supervising and contributing to leadership tasks for psychology and wider multidisciplinary staff Benefits SJC offers access to professional development and CPD opportunities, flexible working options where service needs allow, and a supportive environment within the Clyde‑wide Psychology staffing.
