Equipment Finance Sales Executive - Diversity Spend

DescriptionThis role can be based in any Huntington corporate location. Summary:The Equipment Finance Sales Executive acquires and develops new profitable and quality Equipment Finance relationships which require diversity spend. In addition, retains and deepens existing customer relationships. Duties & Responsibilities:SalesProspectingProduct pricing and structuringCustomer proposalsProactively builds internal relationships with regional partners and relationship managers to drive Diverse Spend opportunities with Huntington customersCross sells other bank products, and stays current on competitor offerings to suggest product improvementsProactive management of Banker relationship, including routine 1:1’s, development and execution of relationship plans, pipeline reviews, pre-call plans, partner plans, and joint callingResponsible for maintaining and managing to weekly and monthly sales results and ensure the timely entering of weekly data and monitor for accuracyAssists in outbound calling initiatives offer new solutions to clients and ensure Huntington as our customer’s primary banking relationshipMay mentor other Asset Finance colleaguesResponsible for being a positive change agent as Huntington evolves its products and strategiesPerforms other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree5+ years of experience in equipment finance sales and/or creditPreferred Qualifications:Experience with diversity spendPrevious formalized credit trainingDemonstrated success structuring complex credits; researching, judging and presenting information verbally and in writing; and creating documentation to support the credit and minimize riskDemonstrated leadership experience by providing coaching, skill development, and feedback to team membersProficiency using Microsoft Word and ExcelProven negotiation skillsStrong written and verbal communicationHigh level of professionalism#LI-Hybrid#LI-DK1#CMLExempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)YesWorkplace Type:OfficeOur Approach to Office Workplace TypeCertain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.Compensation Range:$70,000 - $154,000 Annual SalaryThe compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
