We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a growing organization in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role is centered on building strong relationships with employees and leaders, with a primary focus on performance management, employee relations, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate brings a practical, people-first approach to coaching managers, addressing workplace concerns, and helping teams create a positive and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with employees and leaders to address workplace concerns, strengthen performance, and promote a positive employee experience.
• Guide managers through sensitive employee matters, including conflict resolution, corrective action, and challenging performance discussions.
• Design and manage performance improvement plans that provide employees with clear expectations, measurable goals, and support for success.
• Work closely with sales leadership to address performance issues through coaching, feedback, and structured development plans.
• Evaluate engagement patterns and recommend initiatives that improve morale, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
• Conduct employee relations reviews and support fair, consistent, and confidential resolution of workplace issues.
• Oversee key stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, training coordination, development support, and separation processes.
• Lead performance review administration and advise managers on effective evaluation practices and documentation.
• Maintain accurate HR records, prepare workforce reports, and track employee data within BambooHR or a similar HRIS platform.
• Provide support for benefits, payroll coordination, recruiting activities, job fairs, and onsite hiring events as needed.• At least 5 years of experience in human resources, including substantial exposure to generalist-level responsibilities.
• Proven success in employee relations, engagement, retention, and performance management within a fast-paced organization.
• Demonstrated ability to coach managers through conflict, workplace concerns, and performance-related conversations.
• Experience creating and administering performance improvement plans with clear accountability and follow-through.
• Working knowledge of employment law, HR compliance standards, and best practices for employee documentation.
• Familiarity with BambooHR or another comparable HR information system used for employee records and reporting.
• Strong communication, sound judgment, organizational ability, and discretion when handling sensitive employee matters.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience; HR certification is a plus.
