Carry out multiple maintenance assignments across multiple facilities and structures. Inspect mechanical systems and machinery, performing required maintenance, adjustments, or repairs. Repair or replace faulty parts such as gears, valves, seals, bearings. Use and install chain hoists or other lifting devices to rig equipment and hardware into position. Assemble, install, test, and maintain mechanical systems, apparatus, and appliances using hand or power tools. Adhere to all safety procedures and policies. Ability to work under call-back availability based on operational needs. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate’s degree required. Minimum of 3 years related experience. Certification or training from maritime institutions preferred. Knowledge of marine systems and regulations. Practical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components of diverse marine machinery and attachments. Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics. Safety awareness, especially in confined spaces and hazardous environments. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours. Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, walking, standing or sitting for several hours; climbing in and out of a vehicle; up and down stairs. Must persevere to work effectively under pressure for extended periods. Other Requirements A valid state driver’s license required; must obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
