Deburrer
This role ensures that metal parts are properly deburred, cleaned, and prepared for processes such as plasma spray or paint, using hand tools with a strong focus on quality and precision. You will perform repetitive production tasks that require excellent attention to detail, accurate documentation, and the flexibility to cross-train in related support functions.
Responsibilities
- Deburr parts using hand tools such as hand grinders and razor blades to remove sharp edges, burrs, and imperfections.
- Clean parts after plasma spray application to ensure surfaces meet cleanliness and quality standards.
- Prepare parts for subsequent processes such as spray or paint by performing thorough surface cleaning and preparation.
- Inspect cleaned and deburred parts to verify they meet inspection requirements and quality specifications.
- Document and track finished parts accurately, maintaining clear records of completed work.
- Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining consistent quality and productivity.
- Cross-train and support related functions such as tapers and masking support as needed.
- Follow manufacturing procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions within a production environment.
Essential Skills
- Mechanical knowledge to understand parts, tools, and basic manufacturing processes.
- Manual dexterity to handle small parts, operate hand grinders, and use razor blades safely and precisely.
- Attention to detail to ensure parts are thoroughly deburred, cleaned, and able to pass inspection.
- Experience with deburring processes and surface cleaning in a production or general labor environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and consistent quality.
- Basic production and general manufacturing experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience preparing parts for spray or paint applications.
- General production, manufacturing, or general labor roles.
- Comfort working with hand tools and basic shop equipment.
- Willingness to cross-train in related support areas such as masking and taping.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
