Physical Therapy Assistant - Full Time

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate degree in physical therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active State of Florida license or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• New graduates are eligible and encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist.
• Progress patients safely through treatment within the patient's maximum capabilities.
• Consult with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and changes in condition.
• Document all treatment and pertinent patient interactions according to clinic policies.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding home programs and activities.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the rehabilitation team.
• Collaborate with teammates to grow clinical skills and clinic culture.
