Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN Location: Jefferson City, TN • Full Time We are looking for an LPN to join our University of Tennessee Home Care Services team. Position Overview The LPN is responsible for providing quality patient care and performing skilled care in the patient’s home. Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team. Instruct the patient’s family in the care of the patient and maintain a healthy environment. Observe, record, and report the patient’s response to treatment and changes in condition daily to the supervising nurse and/or physician. Collaborate closely with physicians and RNs, document care accurately and promptly, and may not alter the plan of care. Must‑Haves One year of clinical LPN experience. Current LPN license in the state where services are rendered. Current CPR certification. Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation. Must be able to reliably commute to multiple patient residences daily within the geographic area assigned.
