Schedule is 630am- until work is finished, Sundays are required

Pass drug screen (THC not allowed), national BGC, must be okay in cold environment, comfortable lifting up to 90 lbs.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Selector to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring timely and precise fulfillment to meet customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess strong warehouse experience, proficiency with various material handling equipment, and a commitment to safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to efficient warehouse operations and support our commitment to quality service.

Responsibilities

• Utilize RF scanners and barcode scanning technology to accurately select items for customer orders based on order sheets and system prompts.
• Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport inventory within the warehouse.
• Perform manual handling tasks including lifting, packing, and stacking materials while adhering to safety standards and PPE requirements.
• Manage inventory control by stocking products correctly, conducting regular cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems.
• Prepare orders for shipping by packing items securely, labeling packages accurately, and ensuring compliance with shipping standards.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment to facilitate smooth distribution operations.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve picking accuracy, and ensure quality control throughout the order fulfillment process.
• Support shipping and receiving activities by loading/unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, and documenting discrepancies.
• Follow safety protocols diligently during all warehouse activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software.
• Familiarity with barcode scanning technology for logistics purposes.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
• Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety and PPE use.
• Experience in order picking & packing, shipping & receiving procedures.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations including stock management, quality control, packaging, and materials handling.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Prior experience in warehouse supervision or leadership roles is a plus.
