Title
RN - Medical/Surgical Telemetry Float

Schedule
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule minimum; holiday rotation required.
- Guaranteed hours: Minimum 3 shifts per 13-week contract.

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications required
- Telemetry competency
- IV start capability
- EMR: EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor patients in a medical/surgical telemetry setting for changes in condition.
- Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients across various units, including medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, renal, and cardiology.
- Perform telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition/management.
- Administer IV therapy and manage central and peripheral lines.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in rapid response and code situations as required.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours
- Maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract (7+ days requires manager approval); no RTO allowed first week.
- Scrub color: Navy blue
- Fit testing required (no facial hair that interferes).
