Jim Shorkey Kia in Irwin, Pa has expanded their service department and we are looking to hire a few quick lane technicians. This in our new 12 Bay Kia facility with air conditioning and heat! What We Offer:

- Perform regular maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements, to prevent problems before they occur.
- Inspect engines for leaks.
- Top off other fluids in the transmission or braking system.
- Perform tire pressure checks and rotations and inflate as needed.
- Install new batteries, wiper blades and air filters.
- Diagnose issues and recommend repair work to mechanics.
- Replaces oil, air, cabin, and fuel filters.
- Drain engine oil and add new oil to a car's engine.
- Use specialized tools and equipment and tools, such as scanners, multimeters, and hydraulic lifts, to diagnose problems and make repairs.
- Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance services performed on vehicles. Document all work performed on the repair order
- Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards..
- Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
- Keep shop area neat and clean.
- Must be 18 years old and hold a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to pass a background check with no criminal record.
- Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
- Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.)
