R&D Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Permanent R&D Engineer to join our innovative team in the manufacturing industry. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, focusing on the development and implementation of new technologies and processes, and will drive the future of our company with a strong emphasis on innovation, efficiency, and continual improvement of our manufacturing processes. Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year. Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase product quality. Utilize AutoCAD to design and visualize complex manufacturing processes and equipment. Work closely with the production team to implement new processes and technologies and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Conduct research into new technologies and materials, and assess their feasibility for use in manufacturing processes. Collaborate with other departments, including sales and marketing, to understand customer needs and develop products that meet those needs. Ensure all new processes and technologies comply with industry standards and regulations. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management, outlining findings and recommendations. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior R&D team members. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software. Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems and their application in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to lead the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative approach. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to work well in a team, lead and mentor junior staff. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and on budget.
