Role Overview The MRI Assistant supports MRI Technologists during procedures by serving as the second staff member in the MRI suite, assisting with patient transport, verifying orders, scheduling, cleaning, and supply management. They help prepare patients, obtain medical histories, and ensure proper documentation in Epic. They help prepare patients, obtain medical histories, and ensure proper documentation in Epic. Responsibilities Assist with MRI procedures and patient support Complete documentation in Epic accurately Prepare patients by changing attire and removing jewelry/shoes Maintain cleanliness and organize supplies Perform light housekeeping and restock items Follow quality assurance and patient confidentiality protocols Support other departments during downtimes to maintain productivity Assist with patient education and screening verification Qualifications & Skills Certify in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days; strong organizational skills; ability to work independently; attention to detail; excellent communication; ability to follow protocols and maintain confidentiality.
