SwiftPro Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is a fast-growing, top-rated, family-owned company looking for a full-time HVAC installer to join our talented team. We offer steady, year-round replacement work and a strong support team. We’re looking for the best of the best: an installer with the experience and attention to detail to give every customer a five-star install.

If you’re looking for a long-term home where you can take your craft and your career to the next level, look no further.

Why SwiftPro

We’re building the best place for high-level tradespeople to work, grow, and thrive. Our vision is to be the most loved, trusted, and recognized service company in Northern Virginia. Here’s what that means for you:

• Steady work, all year. Our sales team keeps the install board full in every season, so you’re not guessing about next week.
• Competitive pay based on experience. Bring five-star skill and we’ll pay for it, with overtime when the work calls for it.
• A team that sets you up to win. Jobs arrive sold right and scoped right, with a manager who picks up the phone.
• The tools to win. Stocked company vehicle, gas card, tablet, uniforms, and safety gear.
• Paid time off and six paid holidays. Rest matters. We build it in.
• Room to grow. We promote from within. As we expand, our best installers step into lead and management roles.

What You’ll Do

• Install residential heating and cooling systems: gas furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, dual-fuel systems, and ductless mini-splits
• Remove old equipment and recover refrigerant the right way, every time
• Fabricate and modify ductwork, plenums, and transitions for a clean fit and strong airflow
• Braze linesets with nitrogen, pull a proper micron evacuation, and weigh in the charge
• Make gas, electrical, venting, and condensate connections to code and manufacturer specifications
• Start up, test, and commission every system, and document the readings
• Walk the homeowner through the new system and thermostat before you leave
• Protect the home with floor coverings and leave the work area cleaner than you found it

Who You Are

• A self-motivated installer who takes pride in your work and doesn’t need to be chased
• 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
• Obsessed with the details: level pads, straight lines, sealed joints, and tidy wiring
• EPA Section 608 certified
• Skilled in sheet metal, brazing, gas piping, low-voltage wiring, and system start-up
• A clear, friendly communicator who treats every home with respect
• Able to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all seasons
• Holder of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and able to pass a background check
• Virginia HVAC Journeyman or Master license (DPOR) is a plus

How We Work: Our Core Values

• Take Total Ownership. Your name is on every install. We see it, own it, solve it, do it. No blame, no excuses.
• Act With Urgency. A family without heat or air is counting on us. We charge toward the storm.
• We Win Together. No egos, no silos, no know-it-alls. We stay coachable, help our teammates, and tell the truth.
• Go For Wow. Good is common. Wow is earned. We chase the five-star install and get 1% better every day.

Compensation

• Pay structure: Full-time W-2 position, competitive hourly pay based on experience, paid weekly, with overtime at 1.5x for hours over 40 in a workweek
• Hourly rate: $__________ to $__________ per hour, based on experience and certifications
• Also included: Company vehicle, gas card, tablet, uniforms, paid time off, and six paid holidays
