Join Our Team as a School Psychologist in Camden, SC We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join a collaborative educational team in Camden, SC. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students
Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations to educational teams and families
Participate in eligibility determinations and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and support staff to address student needs
Provide consultation regarding behavioral interventions, academic supports, and mental health services
Assist in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
Support crisis prevention, intervention, and response efforts within the school setting
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
Monitor student progress and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications
Required
Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
Active South Carolina School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain certification
Knowledge of psychoeducational testing, assessment tools, and evaluation procedures
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Preferred
Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 educational setting
Experience with special education eligibility evaluations and IEP processes
Familiarity with behavioral assessment and intervention strategies
Knowledge of MTSS, RTI, and evidence-based academic and behavioral supports
Experience supporting diverse student populations and mental health initiatives
