Resumption of Care and DME Specialist

Overview This position will be contacting hospital and rehab/nursing facilities to obtain documents or signed orders needed to resume home health after hospitalization. Once items are received, you will upload the documents to Kinnser. You will also work with members of the marketing team who assist in retrieval of signed documents from referral sources. Duties and Responsibilities Attaching documents into Kinnser in a timely manner. Calling hospital and rehab/nursing facilities to follow up on patients and/or documents needed. Emailing our staff regarding hospitalization. Documenting all communication in Kinnser. Faxing order requests to physician's offices and medical records requests to hospitals or rehab/nursing facilities as needed. Faxing medical equipment orders to DME companies. Job Skills and Education Skills: A basic knowledge in healthcare setting is a plus. General computer skills and email knowledge. Being a self-motivator, excellent customer service skills, being proactive, the ability to multitask, being a problem solver, and the ability to prioritize is a must.
