Essential Functions

• Report to work on time, ready to begin shift
• Maintain flexible availability including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and management
• Follow all company safety procedures and hotel policies
• Maintain professionalism and composure in high-volume situations
• Provide excellent customer service while multitasking efficiently
• Work independently and collaboratively with team members

Job Duties

• Greet guests warmly and professionally
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company standards
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of menus, beverages, specials, and promotions
• Make recommendations and upsell food and beverage offerings
• Accurately enter orders and payments into the POS system
• Verify guest age and follow all alcohol awareness procedures
• Follow liquor portion control standards and TIPS guidelines
• Handle cash, process payments, and balance sales transactions at shift end
• Stock and maintain bar supplies, glassware, and ice bins
• Clean and organize bar and lounge areas
• Wash glassware using sinks and dishwashers
• Safely use cleaning products and comply with health and safety standards
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize work areas as needed
• Ensure liquor storage and entrances/exits are secured at end of shift
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• TIPS certification required
• Allergy Awareness training is a plus
• Strong communication and guest service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism

Physical Requirements

This position requires extended periods of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds. The role also involves moderate computer and POS system use. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Additional Information

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Upon hire, employees must complete the I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification form within the first three days of employment.
