("AEGIS") has an immediate opening for a Senior Application Developer, Pega responsible for identifying, evaluating, and introducing new technologies and applications in line with the company's technology strategy and roadmap. The Senior Application Developer, Pega, in conjunction with the Architects and the Chief Enterprise Architect, partners with both business and technology groups to ensure that the proposed technical solutions align with the company's overall objectives and meet the needs of the company's mission and vision. Works as a part of the development teams providing support to new/existing systems of high complexity and scope. This may include reviewing designs and recommending improvements to the architectureShare / leverage successful products, processes, and best practices across the technology organizationProject and Program ManagementLead the design and modeling of tactical architectures for delivery, development, and support of projectsPartner with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutionsParticipate in the evaluation and implementation of vendor software and toolsMeeting Facilitation and PresentationCoordinate training and provides leadership/guidance to team members; Serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the software product, tools, and techniques utilized, employing them with a high level of proficiencyDevelop secure coding & secure design principles and train developers on secure coding practicesResearch and AnalysisConduct technical research, testing, evaluation and documentation of routine hosting/configuration tools and methodologies to ensure that tools are current and functionalCollect and review system data for capacity and planning purposes. Analyzes capacity data and develops capacity plans for appropriate level enterprise-wide systemsMonitor application logs and alerts to ensure system health and optimal use of resourcesWe expect to pay a starting salary between $130,000 and $150,000. An applicant's placement within this range is based on their individual qualifications and professional experience.
