This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a professional and patient‑centered environment. Responsibilities Perform abdominal, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, and pelvic ultrasounds as ordered by GI providers. Perform Fibro Scan, Anorectal Manometry testing. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and calibration standards. Capture clear, high‑quality diagnostic images and prepare them for physician interpretation. Review patient history and verify exam indications prior imaging. Explain ultrasound procedures to patients and ensure comfort throughout the exam. Document imaging findings in the EMR accurately and promptly. Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and nursing staff to ensure efficient patient flow. Maintain exam room cleanliness, supplies, and infection‑control standards. Assist with scheduling and follow‑up imaging needs when required. Qualifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification or equivalent experience required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with medical charting required Strong attention to detail E-clinical experience required
