Work Environment

The role is 100% remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of your own space. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that guide their therapeutic journeys.
• Deliver high-quality individual therapy utilizing diverse modalities tailored to each client's unique circumstances, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or trauma-informed care.
• Set therapeutic goals collaboratively with clients while monitoring their progress over time to ensure they meet their mental health objectives.
• Provide teletherapy sessions to enhance accessibility for clients facing challenges in attending in-person meetings.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards to uphold the integrity of our practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to refine your skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population primarily composed of school-aged children, adolescents, and young adults who are grappling with issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Your work will directly contribute to their emotional and psychological well-being, guiding them toward healthier coping strategies and improved life outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active and valid state license in one of the following areas: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and a non-judgmental approach tailored to each client’s needs.
• Proven organizational and time-management abilities to handle a varied client caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience working in a school setting or with a young demographic is highly desirable as you will be collaborating with educators and caregivers to support holistic student wellness. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and documentation systems relevant to mental health practice will be advantageous in facilitating smooth service delivery.
