Data Analytics Engineer
Location: Remote (Reston, VA)
Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire
Job Description/Required Skills:
- Data Analytics Engineer role
- Moving all Analytics tools (Built on R, SAS, Python and ML based platforms) to AWS Cloud
- Implementing and maintaining Analytics platforms to enable Data Science Community to develop, create and deploy machine learning capabilities
- Good knowledge of ML application - Python and SAS based application
- Good exposure with different AWS Services - Analytics services(Glue, Kinesis, Athena etc..), Databases Services (Aurora, Dynamo DB, AWS RDS, Redshift) and in AWS Compute services (EC2, Lambda, Beanstalk, ECS)
- Hands on programming exposure - Python & SAS
- Integrating these analytics platforms to AWS cloud by using Python and SAS
- Good exposure with DevOps engineering as well - CI/CD tools, IAAS and Cloud Orchestration Tools - Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud formation etc..
- Previous Finance/Mortgage exposure would be a plus but not required
- Not looking for Data Scientist here.
