This contract role is ideal for a School Psychologist who enjoys being part of an engaged and collaborative community, working Monday through Friday with a manageable 37.5-hour weekly schedule. While in-person practitioners with an Indiana license are preferred, virtual candidates holding the necessary credentials are welcome, ensuring flexibility for qualified professionals.

In this position, your primary focus will be conducting special education evaluations, with an estimated 60-80 assessments per year. You’ll serve a diverse range of students across three PreK-6 elementary campuses and a 7th/8th grade middle school. The specific distribution may be adjusted to suit your work modality—either onsite or remote. Regular collaboration with district supervisors and participation in monthly team meetings will allow you to stay connected and supported, while interaction with families and staff creates meaningful impact in students’ success stories.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• A valid Indiana School Psychologist license
• Experience with psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determination (preferred)
• Current knowledge of special education law and compliance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to partner with families and educational staff
• Comfort collaborating through both in-person and virtual platforms
