Palliative Care 11th Floor - Day/Night or NightsPalliative care focuses on providing relief from the side effects of serious illness. This unit will be providing symptom management for patients still under treatment – uncontrolled pain, severe nausea/vomiting, failure to thrive, fatigue, etc. for a better quality of life. The ideal candidates are med surg nurses that want to enhance their palliative care skills while also seeing other high acuity med surg units via floating.Certifications required:BLSMinimum 2 years of acute care RN experience requiredCerts: BLSRequired to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuityPrevious travel experience preferred!EPIC experience required!If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department's needs.
