Assigned to one campus, with possibility of rotating to other campuses and ED observation. Travelers don't get trauma/rescue rooms and don't get triage or locked behavioral health units POLICY FOR WEEKEND CALL OUTS: If a traveler RN calls out on their scheduled weekend shift (Saturday/Sunday for 7am, 11am, & 3pm shift start times or Friday/Saturday/Sunday for 7pm & 11pm shift start times) the shift will be re-schedule as a make up on another weekend shift within the next 6 week scheduling period. (sooner if the contract ends before that) If the traveler RN contacts the Traveler Managers immediately after the missed shift, they may request the specific day they would like to perform the make-up Traveler managers will schedule the makeup on any weekend shift without a contracted RDO to based on department staffing needs The makeup shift will be in place of a scheduled weekday shift during that same week to not incur overtime. If the traveler would like to work the make-up shift as overtime, this needs to be approved by the manager based on staffing needs Makeup shift will be labeled in EZ Call with a comment stating, Weekend Makeup. Candidate must apply prior to submittal and start date should allot for the license to issue.
