Senior Tax Associate
Tinley Park, IL | Hybrid Remote (2 Days In Office) Looking for a public accounting opportunity where you can continue building your tax career without sacrificing your personal life? Our client is a highly respected boutique CPA firm serving privately held businesses and individuals throughout the Chicagoland area. They specialize in tax preparation, proactive tax planning, and strategic consulting, offering employees the opportunity to work closely with clients while enjoying the flexibility and work-life balance that is often difficult to find at larger firms. What You'll Do- Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships, S corporations, LLCs, and individual clients.
- Assist with tax planning and consulting projects for business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
- Research tax issues and recommend practical solutions.
- Build lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and timely communication.
- Work directly with partners on a diverse client base across a variety of industries.
- Stay current on tax law changes and identify planning opportunities for clients.
- Collaborate with a supportive team that values mentorship, professional growth, and continuous learning.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- 2-3 years of public accounting tax experience.
- Experience preparing flow-through entity tax returns and individual income tax returns.
- CPA or progress toward obtaining a CPA is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
- Hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the Tinley Park office.
