Custodian ZFS Part Time Production Zeeland, MI, US Part time position: 2 to 3 days a week (up to 5 hours per day) Job Summary: The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of facility buildings and offices . Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Carry out general cleaning, maintenance, and appearance assignments in a timely manner. Clean & maintain restrooms, offices, common areas, and custodial storage to satisfactory standards using established practices and procedures. Safely operate, maintain, and inspect custodial equipment. Request for replacements as needed. Conduct inventory and maintain an appropriate supply of cleaning products and tools. Assist departments with task responsibilities that may arise on an as-needed basis. Properly dispose of waste and recyclables. Provide a “Customer Service” attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production, and achieving quality standards. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety requirements. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workstation/environment at all times. Perform all other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: There are no supervisory responsibilities in this position. Education and Experience: Education: High School or Equivalent Experience : No experience required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Familiar with operating, storing, and basic maintenance of custodial equipment supplies . Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management. Able to be aware of all relevant SOPs per Company policy as they are related to the position covered by this Job Description. Able to comply with the company’s safety, quality, and environmental policies at all times. Must be 18 years of age. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Ability to bend, stand, kneel to lift objects of 50 pounds or more. Ability to walk for long period of time around interior and exterior of facility.
