The Summer Accounting Assistant – Fixed Assets (Part-Time) provides critical operational support to the finance department by updating and maintaining the organization's equipment records. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the successful candidate will analyze fixed asset data for accuracy and perform physical audits to tag corporate equipment. This temporary role is ideal for a detail-oriented student or entry-level professional seeking hands-on experience in corporate accounting and asset management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze data: Review and reconcile historical fixed asset records within the accounting system.
• Tag equipment: Conduct physical inventory checks to locate, identify, and place asset tags on corporate equipment.
• Verify records: Match physical assets against financial ledgers to identify discrepancies or missing information.
• Report findings: Compile data analysis results and inventory updates to present directly to the CFO.
• Support team: Assist the finance department with ad-hoc administrative and data entry tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma. College experience.
• Computer skills
• Data Analysis skills

Salary Information: $12/hr
