Cardiac Cath Lab - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience with 9 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - North TX Division.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: - MacLab monitoring experience; can train. - Circulating EP procedures; can train.

Unit Details: - Uses Philips, GE, Pyxis, and MacLab. - Performs cardiac caths, TEE/CVNs, pacemaker implants, PVS, EP ablations, PE/DVT thrombectomies, and Lexiscan injections for NucMed stress tests. - Small cath lab department with two cath labs; not currently doing many IR procedures.

Shift & Scheduling: - Mon-Fri with 11-13 days of call, including 2 weekends per month. - Where applicable, call coverage for 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday on call. - Call-ins are not very frequent; however, they do occur.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
